The Aysén region is a sparsely populated area in southern Chile, with large glaciers, fjords, and snow-capped mountains. The Laguna San Rafael National Park encompasses the Northern Ice Fields of Patagonia, which has numerous glaciers on inland lakes and rivers. The highest mountains include Cerro Castillo, 2,675 m above sea level and with its famous jagged peaks, located within a natural reserve with the same name.In this edition of Across Andes, Patagonia Verde, you will travel along majestic gravel roads, in addition to the well-known Carretera Austral, passing through: La Paloma, Queulat and Fiordos de Puyuhuapi, Lago Verde, reaching the coast of Raúl Marín in the Pacific Ocean and end by crossing the Simpson Valley.
